Frequently Asked Questions
Every piece carries the essence of Eastern Daoist aesthetics — natural materials (sandalwood, jade, crystal, agarwood, and more) shaped by traditional craftsmanship, infused with the spirit of “the vessel as the bearer of the Way.” These are not mere ornaments, but daily companions that help you return to stillness and reconnect with heaven and earth.
Listen to your inner intuition. If you seek quietude, agarwood or sandalwood beads may serve you well. If you wish for inner strength, black obsidian, white crystal, or a jade pendant can become gentle guardians. We also offer one-on-one advice — simply write to us through the contact page, describe your present state of heart, and we will recommend a piece from a Daoist perspective.
Mystery Tao uses only genuine natural stones, fine woods, and traceable sources. As for “energy” — we believe that no object holds supernatural power by itself, but as an embodiment of nature and mindful making, it can awaken your own perception. As the Daoists say, “the Way lies even in tiles and rubble.” Sincerity reveals truth.
Yes, we ship to most countries and regions. Standard international shipping takes 7–21 days; express delivery (3–7 days) is also available. Shipping fees are calculated at checkout based on your address. All orders include a tracking number and secure packaging to ensure your vessel arrives safely.
Vessels carry intention, so please choose with care. If you receive an item that does not resonate with you, you may contact us within 14 days to request a return (provided the item is unused and in its original condition). Custom-made or ritually consecrated pieces are not eligible for return. Refunds are processed within 7 business days after we receive the returned package. Please refer to our Returns Policy for full details.
The simplest care is to treat them with respect — jade and crystal can be briefly rinsed under running water and then left overnight under moonlight; wooden pieces should avoid sun exposure and soaking. If you are drawn to traditional rituals, light a stick of incense, sit in stillness for a while, and “offer” a quiet heart to the vessel — that is the deepest purification.
Not at all. We honour all sincere paths of faith, but Mystery Tao itself is not a religious group. We share the philosophical wisdom of Daoism — clarity, naturalness, harmony — along with the living aesthetic of classical Chinese culture. Whether you follow a particular belief or not, you are welcome to find a moment of peace and beauty here.
You can reach us through the contact form at the bottom of this page, or send an email directly to support@mysterytao.com. We usually reply within 24–48 hours (slightly longer on weekends). Every message is read with genuine attention.
